Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breast,Skinless-Boneless
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- To Taste Salt and Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 medium Chopped onion
- 4 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 chopped Fire Roasted Pepper
- 15 oz Tomato, crushed
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes
- 3/4 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
- Season the chicken with the paprika, onion powder, 2 tsp. Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a skillet and add the seasoned chicken. Cook the chicken on both sides until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the onion in the same skillet until it is translucent. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Add in the rest of the ingredients except for the cheese. Stir to mix well.
- Simmer for about 4 minutes. Stir a few times during the simmering.
- Place the chicken back into the skillet. Sprinkle the cheese on top of each breast.
- Place the skillet in the oven under the broiler. Broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is browned.
