This recipe like all keto recipes has a different texture than regular brownies. These brownies are a great way to stave off a chocolate craving. If I could I would keep them on hand all the time.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 pan and set aside.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Mix in 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and powdered swerve.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate in a microwave at thirty second intervals. Stir to combine.
  4. Beat the eggs in a large bowl until frothy. Beat in the swerve and mix well.
  5. Add the vanilla, salt and baking powder mix well. Add in the melted chocolate.
  6. Stir in the coconut flour one tablespoon at a time.
  7. Spread 3/4 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon in the cream cheese filling onto the top of the brownie batter.
  8. Mix the heavy cream into the remainder of the batter. (This helps with giving the brownies a marbleized effect.) Pour the batter onto the top of the cream cheese layer and swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
