Cereal is one of the things people miss on the keto diet. Most cereal is high in sugar and carbs so it is a no-no on the diet.

This granola can replace the cereal you miss. It is a tasty breakfast that you can add your favorite milk to. It can also be eaten without milk for a snack.

Instructions

  1. Put the coconut, seeds and nuts in a roasting pan with high sides.
  2. Melt the coconut oil. Add the syrup and spices to the melted oil.
  3. Pour the melted oil over the dry mix. Stir with a wooden spoon, making sure the dry mix is well coated with the oil mixture.
  4. Place roasting pan in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. The granola will burn easily so turn it with a spoon every 3 minutes.
  5. After mixture cools, place in airtight container for storage. The granola will keep for a week or two.
