- Place the basil, garlic, pecans, salt and pepper in a food processor.(Any nut can be used just make sure they are toasted.)Pulse until the ingredients are chopped well.
- Add olive oil to the processor and pulse until well combined. If you need to you can add in a little more oil to reach the desired consistency.
- Store the pesto in an airtight container in the fridge. The pesto can also be stored in the freezer.(I like to store it in individual servings.)
