Crockpot Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp scampi is delicious. The combination of garlic and butter when added to shrimp is perfect. Cooking in the crockpot is an easy way to prepare this dish.

Though traditionally served over pasta, there are other options. Spaghetti squash is one option. I also like the idea of cauliflower rice.

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients except the wine in the crockpot. Stir to combine the ingredients.
  2. Make sure the shrimp are peeled and deveined. Add the shrimp to the crockpot.
  3. Cook 1 1/2 hours on high.
  4. After the shrimp are done remove and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.(This will be great on top of spaghetti squash prepared in your favorite way.)
