Chocolate Chip Cookie Ball

Chocolate chip cookie is all I need say. This may not be your typical cookie but it is still delicious. A fried dough cookie that will make you forget you are eating low carb.

This recipe reminds me of some of the foods you have at the county fair. You could even sprinkle it with swerve powdered sugar while still warm.

Instructions

  1. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
  2. Microwave butter just long enough to melt. Stir butter and vanilla into the dry ingredients.
  3. Beat the egg then add to the batter. Stir until dough thickens. Add the chocolate chips.
  4. Use hands to form the dough into a ball.
  5. Put the ball in fridge. Heat the oil to 375 degrees. Do not let it go over 400 degrees.(remove from heat if necessary )
  6. Remove ball from fridge and divide into three even pieces. Form the pieces into balls.
  7. Gently place the dough balls into the hot oil. Fry 1-2 minutes gently turning in the oil.
  8. Remove from pan and place on a paper towel to drain.
  9. ( I did not add in the coconut oil used to fry the dough when calculating the macros)
