Cabbage and Kielbasa Skillet

One pan meals are the best. An easy cleanup and usually not much prep work makes them perfect dinner or lunch. Cabbage and kielbasa are a favorite combination of mine.

You could always add a little more spice to this dish by adding some hot sauce. Also if you are tired of the same old breakfast, this recipe is great leftover for breakfast. It heats up quick in the microwave.

Instructions

  1. Melt butter( coconut oil can be substituted) in a large skillet. Add onion and minced garlic and sauté until onion is tender.
  2. Thinly slice kielbasa and add to the skillet.
  3. Core and slice the cabbage and add to the skillet along with the red wine vinegar.
  4. Stir together and cover. Simmer for twenty minutes or until cabbage is tender.
  5. Sprinkle finished dish with red pepper flakes and enjoy.
